Today while I was feeding Adonus (male ambanja) I decided to hand feed him a few supers and noticed that his tongue seemed stickier than usual. Like when he is hitting them off my hand his tongue is staying stuck to my hand. It has never really had this problem with the tongue staying to my hand.
I was just wondering if anyone has this problem. Do you think it could be a start of dehydration? He doesn't have sunken eyes or any other signs of dehydration. I cant take pictures of him at the moment because my camera is dead. But i think it is due to get some new pics of him.
He seems to drink a lot, I mist him about 5-6 times a day for 3 minutes at a time and then he gets a shower usually once a week, sometimes twice.
Cage and supplements are the normal. He is in about 6 months old in a 3.5 x 2 x 2.4 ft cage with reptiglow 5.0 and gets cal without d3 4 times a week on crickets.
