Mine is about 4 months as well. I see that he ends up missing more when I am watching him from close up. Probably cause he has 1 eye on you and not both on the target.

When I watch him from across the room he tends to hit his target almost everytime.

i have no clue, im sure someone would help... my friend is very good with this so ill ask her to help... if it was my geuss, probably no help... but eye issues? making it harder for him to see the prey hes shooting at, or he could have (As i just learned a few mins ago) Vitamin defficiency, that may be able to cause him to not have as much velocity with his tongue shooting? I am 100% not sure though, wait for other experts, i am just a 'Nooby' Still sort of :p :)

Oh she posted less then a minute before me, how ironic.... haha

Sorry for doubleposting! :D
