to raise and keep humidity

Hello all,

so for the past month that ive been a proud chameleon owner i have been misting my cham with those automatic hand misting bottles. problem is that i cant do it all the time because of work or school. i do have a dripper going so she can drink whenever she wants.

so my question is, would an rain system be just as good as an automated misting system when it comes to keeping the humidity high??

What kind of cham? Most don't need constant high humidity. What is the humidity generally at?

You need to get a mistking automatic misting system.

Mist or rain, in terms of RH, water is water, doesnt matter.
In terms of getting them to drink from it (plus using a dripper) I have the best luck, with panthers and jacksons, using a rain system.

yea ive been reading different post stating that, the rain system is easier when it comes to getting panther chameleon to drink.

Most panthers run and hide when the mistking goes off.
In fact, I have never seen any of my chams like it, much less drink from it.
They do like the rain. I guess it's more natural, like being outside.
It's only benefit I got from it was that it helps raise the RH.
But a rain system does that too, so.....
