thanks:eek:

Doesn't look particularly over crowded. Your little one is gonna like having places to hide! :)

remove the substrate and you will have a nice looking cage. Also, don't keep that Nano for too long. If you could somehow put screen on the front you could get more air circulation into the cage which is needed for your chameleon.

ok, thanks :) ill take the substrate out this weekend. i was going to try and make a screen for the front eventually too, will it be ok without it for a month or so???

If the little guy wanders down especially when hunting for food, take the substrate out asap! Please? I was gonna wait until the weekend (only a couple more days) and my girl ended up choking on a chunk when she caught a cricket and she died!

If it is just small particles of soil, you should be okay but it looks chunky so in my paranoia I say don't wait... That's just me though, sorry.

The rest looks great though and I have seen some way more crowded with plants than that for young-uns.

Yes its very real..
If I'm not mistaken that's a terrarium u have him in with the lower front vent is it not?. I used a small computer fan to pull air through that vent. But if its a terrarium he's fine for now..
How's ur misting? Drainage must be an issue with the substrate and glass and all

yes it has a little vent, i have a little clip on fan that might fit there. i mist 2 or 3 times a day, ill be taking the substrate out in a few hours so i wont have to worry about it anymore;) and eventually going to be making a screen door and getting rid of the glass.

Great article about our glass vivs. This is a very controversial issue everywhere. Chams in the wild don't live in glass cages and most probably don't mind living in screen cages as much as glass. But, everytime I tried to move my previous chams out of their glass houses, they freaked. It was okay to come out in the fresh air during the day but if there was much breeze at all, they wouldn't sleep very well and started acting weird after a few days. So, some people just keep their chams in these specially made glass tanks all the time. Mine would at least go home for nighty-night (most of the time they would go back on their own).

Humidity is easier to control in the glass vivs that is for sure. And, especially after Trooper Twister got sick, the control over environment was easier since the vet wanted him to have higher temps, not get any chills and be kept out of the breezes we have around here so the glass viv was perfect for us.

A little fan might be an interesting add though...

i tried to hook my fan up but it wouldnt snap on so i have to make a bracket for it:rolleyes:

thats not to much at all, looks good. You should ad some more vines or sticks for climbing and it will be perfect. Also substrate isnt the best they can eat it and become constipaded.

ok, we got the substrate out and cleaned the tank a little more;)

Better??
