Thoughts on C.H. Nosy Faly's

I have been looking for some well priced Nosy Faly's for a while. They would be my first chameleons but I plan on breeding them. I would like some new bloodlines though. I came across some WC but I dont want it to die on me so I turned to CH. I found a pair of CH unrelated Faly's for a good price but the company sellling them claims they are only 1.5 months old. WHat are your thoughts on purchasing them while they are so young?

You have to also be careful with “CH” “Faly”… Its CH so who knows what it could be? Selling AWESOME and PREMIUM locales that are CH makes me laugh. Who knows that they really are...

Completely agree... Cheap and Faly are not two words that often go together either..

If your looking for some reasonable priced faly's with great lineage..id recommend texas panther's faly's. Hes a great guy to deal with and really cares about what he does. You can check some of them out here https://www.chameleonforums.com/update-ch-flays-76145/

Yes, but who says they will be reasonably priced? I think they are but I believe in REAL Faly! (which are not inexpensive) And I KNOW Lee will not let them go till he is SURE they are real Faly!!!;)

Anyone that sells 1.5mo faly CH has no real idea what they are and they are just hoping;) I have past on a number of these so called Faly. Also Faly are not Ambilobe and they usually don't grow like Ambilobe so 1.5mo is small!!! Often 3mo faly is small:eek::eek:

Yes I've already talked to Texas Ranger but it seems that all the quality c.h. Would be out of my range so I'll just stick with a CB

What you say is true. When i see a group of fresh imported females...I CAN NOT decipher one locale to another for the most part. I have to rely on what is labeled on the bag or box. I dont want to go on a rant about cross's because i believe many breeders say they are pure and they are truely not. Not to say that sometimes it is intentional but mistakes on what truely the female may be. i deal with wild caughts a fair bit and unless the whole group comes in one specific locale i question the females. Not going to lie i still question but i am a bit more at ease with myself though. If these are indeed a CH faly line...Of course crossing can happen in the wild but these should be as pure as it gets!

How about some red rain huh? ill post some in photography also. You cant rely on these big name breeders FYI. I personally rely on wild caught for true lineage. :p These were just imported this last week and in my hands this week. What do you think these are?
