Looks like he's trying to scare you or something off... my little guy will puff up like that too, when i come close to him, some times...

I love it when my guy puffs up, hes a male veiled. Blues and yellows in his neck are so pretty. I obviously give him his space but first I enjoy the show

I'd say depends on how much his color changed with the puffing up. He may just be letting you know your in his space up to you totally pissing him off. You'll learn your cham and it's many faces if you just pay a little attention. They are usually easy to read.

I agree with the others. My male veiled always puffs up at me if i get too close. Just give him a little space

That's his chin poof face! He probably wants you to go away. My guy also does this in the morning right after he does a big yawn and shiver.

Does he have to be pissed or mad..o just looked into his repitarium from afar and he looked like he was chilling with jos body kind of layed back..i know i easnt bothering him because i usually do and he doesnt do that then jes pretty friendly to me..i do appreciate your responses but do they do tjat only when they are disturbed..?
