THE LITTLE DRIPPER

Hi Folks

I'm trying to get my chameleon used to the little dripper. I've only been using it one day. I tried bottle feeding my juvenile chameleon, it worked about three times over a few weeks!
He's definitely curious, but hasn't attached to avail of any water, thus far. I have it dripping on a leaf as suggested.

Any ideas of how to encourage him?

Some chameleons are very secret drinkers. In the year that I’ve had mine, I have only once seen her take one little drop of water. I’ve now got three chams and never see any of them drink. Their urates are always white though.

I think thats what happening here too! Hammy's urate is usually white too. On saying that, i noticed a little yellow today. Apparently thats ok?

Yes, a little yellow on one end is ok. Can mean that it’s just been a little longer before they passed the poo/urate. I personally think it’s a chameleon conspiracy. Lol. They’re so cute when they drink...but they won’t let me see. ?
