The end of his tail seems burnt or dead.

It takes my tails about 60 days to fall off, so hopefully its just a crispy end that is going to pop off at any time.

I'm confused, your tail? or an anoles or chams?

My tail fell off a long time ago.

But damaged tails seem to take well over a month to dry out and fall off if they have bones in them. But ive only had like 3-4 damaged tails in 20-30 years. The bad one was a semi break on a water dragon. It never dried out and got a bone infection that slowly worked its way up the tail. That did require a vet visit as i didnt know where the infection stopped nor had antibiotics.
