The best lights for a panther

Ok so I got a panther a week ago and I want to buy new lights to fine tune his 2x2x4 feet screen cage.
Whats the best UVB out there?
And what temps are your basking spot.
What fixture do you use for UVB? Where to get it?

welcome to chameleon ownership! Most of use the Reptisun or Reptiglo 5.0 tube style bulbs. There are other options out there but that is the most popular among members. Basking spot for panthers can be be in the high 80's to about 90 for a young panther and you can bask an adult up to about 95 degrees. Just watch and see if you see your chameleon gaping(mouth open) and lower your temp. I bought my fixtures at lll reptile online. I know people use fixtures from home depot too which I believe are cheaper.

I like Arcadia lights. I would look at the site sponsor light your reptiles. I have Arcadia lights now and am planning to upgrade to the T5 high output Arcadia lights when these are expired.

I second this. I recently upgraded to Arcadia from Zoo Med and I am loving them.
