So what do i exactly have to get for my terrarium? I'm making a list and so far i have on my list:

Lighting - Reptisun 5.0

Hydration - Habba Mist

What else do i need?

im going to get a veiled chameleon and what do you mean?

Are you in the States, Canada, or overseas?

In addition to the cage, the UVB light, and the heat light
you need a way to get water to your chameleon (spray bottle - in your case habba mister- and a dripper)
branches and vines for it to climb on
a live plant or two for it to climb on and hide in
a good understanding of what to feed it, how to gutload the insects
supplements (calcium, etc)

does it matter what kind of live plant? and I live in ontario, canada

Yes..it does matter. The plant should be non-toxic since veileds will/may eat the leaves. It should also be well washed (both sides of the leaves) before putting it in the cage. They also will eat the soil so covering it with pebbles that are too big to ingest will keep him from doing that. Its not so bad that they eat soil...its just that its hard to know if the soil will cause an impaction.

ok, so I need to get soil, live plants (anyone know where I can get one?), non toxic branches and leaves, heating lamp, am I missing anything?
