Terrarium Hood Broke!

I know this is about a Bearded Dragon but I thought maybe someone here could help due to it being with the UVB fixture. And I put it on The forum for Bearded Dragons but I haven't gotten a reply. My son Pulled done the Terrarium hood of of the Dragons cage and it broke. Is it possible if I use and Aquarius hood but still use 10.0 UVB Reptisun bulb?? Please help. I can't but another one till Friday.

So long as the hood can handle the wattage of your bulb, it doesn't matter what it was designed for. It should say on the inside or back of the hood what the maximum wattage it can handle is, and your bulb should say near one of the ends what wattage it is.

I use an aquarium hood form my beardie's enclosure and it's fine.

As long as it is a fluorescent fixture, you should be fine. There is no difference in the ballasts for 24-48 inch NO fluorescent tubes (t8).

No florescent just the reptisun UVB bulb correct?

Sorry, NO stands for normal output, the reptisun bulb is a fluorescent.
