i know there are a million and 1 care sheets for chameleons.
but all or most of them seem to be different in what they say they need. and i am not so sure that what i have read is right b/c they also say to have them in a auarium big no no.
so if you guys could answer this i would be a million times happy.

what temps should i have my enclosure at for a 16 week panther male?
both basking and non basking?

and at what age would they change? and to what?
and lastly how humid should it be?

thanks

This isn't official or anything, just my method. Keep in mind, there is more than one way to care for a cham. The glass vs. screen is a prime example. Both work well, just different requirements.

For newly hatched to 3 or 4 ,months old... I keep cage at room temp (low to mid 70's) and basking at about 74- 76F

3 months to 6 months .... keep cage at room temp and Basking spot at low to mid 80s

6 months to adult.... keep cage at room temp and basking spot at mid - high 80s

I don't measure humidity. I like to mist a minimum of once a day and definetly twice in winter . I run a humidifier in winter also.

Check urates for white , then at least chams are hydrated well and can tolerate a drier humidity than would normally be optimum.
