Tail usage

Parson's seem to really use the tail as a anchor, when hunting down their prey. Anybody else notice their chameleons use of the tail?

Neelix uses he tail as anchor when I try to get him out of his cage! It's like a child holding on to the door frame.

I've seen my cham lower himself to another branch using his tail and only his tail...Thought it was amazing.

love the texture/color of your Parson's, looks awesome!

I always think it's so cool when my Parsons rear up on their back legs and wrap their tail around the branch like that. They are so strong.

Getting them out of their cage always takes a bit of work too.:)

My Kinyongia multi has often dangled by his tail alone to zap a bug that would otherwise be out of reach.
It makes me laugh every time!
They are charming little creatures :)

Jeremy I love your green house and your parsons. How many other chams are currently sharing the greenhouse?

Currently 4 however I have got plans for some more. I have got a great spot in the greenhouse for a lady Parsonii to keep Rhino company. That is if any Parsonii arrive with CITES papers show up again.

You're making me jealous! I've been searching for stick bugs ;p beautiful cham though, my Melon uses his tail only when hanging upside down to anchor. Don't think he has realized how to anchor when feeding.
