May 6th: About 24 hours after being unboxed by the importer, I had him home under the misters. He sat like this for about three hours--from when I got him home at midnight until 3:00 a.m.

Same day, a few hours later after the sun was up, he was looking a heck of a lot better.

Four days after I bought him, I weighed him: 23.5g.

Today I took him out for pictures. He's just starting a shed--the only part that is shed is a small patch on his back/shoulder, so his body is still covered with old skin, but even with that old skin dulling him, look at his colors! So blue! He was a little cranky to say the least. 43.55g today. When he is really cranky he goes a jet black and the blues just pop. I didn't catch him being really black. Next time I take pictures of him I'll be prepared to catch him when he goes jet black.

Janet, that one in particular was in terrible shape. I remember when you pulled him out of the cage.

You have done an awesome job bringing him back to health...well done!!

That one x Pumpkin would be amazing!!

He really was in pretty rough shape. I remember sitting on the floor with him cradled in my hands pleading with you and Craig, asking if he would live. If I remember correctly, he didn't even have his eyes open he was so dehydrated.

If I can get Eric right--that other blue one that is up and down like a yo yo--I want to breed him to Pumpkin. That would be would be incredible. I'm going to try to get a picture to show you just how blue Eric is.

Here's a teaser for you Joel--the one above to a very blue, I think Pumpkin blue, YingLong daughter....

He looks great! Love the blue against the black. Magnificent transformation!

That black was a surprise. I have to get a picture of him when his black is really intense. I've never seen one go black like that. Well, except the girls.
