I can not find it in the plant list- does anyone know if the sweet pea can be used in cham cages ? I had planed on using them to grow my mantis ( and add to her cage as they are a vine type flower) , and then free range ( in summer) my cham in the mantis run - it is going to be a pretty big run 4' X 16' with netting to keep them in - but it will be the main plant in the run- I just dont know if a sweet pea is bad for chams- but the mantis go nuts in them :D they do not eat them- just feed and breed in them - and are also loved by humming birds and butterflies - I have a Jackson X female cham :D
thanks

Jax don't seem to chew on plants so you don't have to worry about them ingesting it. Some members of the pea family are toxic to livestock...but again it has to be eaten. Sometimes you can get additional plant hazard info from searching on other lists...for "pets" or mammals. Not entirely applicable but informative.

ok, thanks - I knew the horses could not eat them ( but they stay away from them and dont try) I will see what other list I can find
ty again :)
