Surprises in the old brev enclosure

Just spotted these two, moments ago!
There is no way I can find all the eggs in these enclosures and here is the proof.
Gads, there are a lot of chameleons in my house right now!

You got your brevs from Mike the same week I did, and it looks like you had hatchlings the same week, too! (Found mine Saturday (plus one more on Monday).) Yours aren't emitting the camera-deflecting rays mine do, though (I have yet to get a good picture of any brev). Congrats!

I found 3 yesterday in my 70 gallon brev tank. I'm getting ready to tear it down and move them to another enclosure so I'm going to have to sift throught the substrate and see how many more eggs are in there. Here is one of the ones that I found:

I just found a third.
My initial inclination was to leave them (lots of microfauna in there for them to eat ... but then I got worried about what crickets might do to them.
Time to set up the baby enclosure with springtails.
They're in a little rubbermaid for now.

LOL, many people worry about the right temperatures and humidity for the eggs and here's the proof that the nature knows best :)

They are too big for the adults to try and eat, but I removed mine because of the cricket issue also. Brev eggs are very hardy, a friend of mine and I traded eggs a few years ago and shipped them across the U.S. to each other. I had a 100% hatch rate on the ones that I recieved in the mail, some hatching within a days of me receiving them.

Update:

I have been finding baby brevicaudatus on a regular basis in this enclosure.
We are up to 10 babies now (just found two more tonight)

Brad has reached a point of chameleon husbandry where golden rays come out of his forehead and he can create chameleons in any environment even without intention.

I second that! - The three brevs I found a couple weeks ago are all that I've found. The next lot I know to expect would be coming along in November.

Congrats Brad, they are adorable - all babies are in my opinion though :)

I wondered how I'd find all the eggs in my 2 cages when the time comes, guess we really don't unless we see the egg laying process.

That's a rather grand title for someone who is essentially just letting these chameleons do their thing.
It hasn't hurt that Mike has sent me a couple of groups of gravid females:)
