Supplementation is still being debated, as there is not a one schedule fits all for chameleons. I've noticed that it can even differ between different animals of the same sex and species, I.E. one being more sensitive to a d3 supplement than another. Personally, I use plain calcium every feeding to every other feeding, with d3 once or twice a month tops depending on how much natural UVB exposure they get. A bi-monthly multi-vitamin is recommended as well, but this supplement is also an area of debate over the best way to provide vitamin A I believe.. Some theorize that the most effective way to supply it is by using a multi-vitamin with beta-carotene that is transformed into vit. A through some biological process.

I would say do lots of research , there is plenty on Sandrachameleons blogs. I was using repeshey calcium plus but having done some reading I now only use it once a week and have gone back to plain calcium most days depending on feeders being used. Silkies don't need dusting. Also my Cham does not get much outside time due to where I live. Also it can depend on what you are using for gutloading. So as you see supplementing depends on many factors. A very rough guide is plain calcium mast feelings and calcium with d3 and multivit twice a month. :)

Why I do believe I just wrote that lol

hmmm yeah that is weird its the same post twice...lol...well im gut loading with repashy bug burger...

Me too, I use Bug Burger as a "all in one" gut load, sometimes through in some kale, orange, apple, or whatever I have sitting around.

I dust w/ Repashy CP every other day for the veiled and panthers and twice a week for the jacksons.
They all go outside at least once a week for at least 3 hours.

In the winter, there will be a few months when I can not take them outside, so will need to adjust my suppliment accordingly

Does the Repashy Calcium Plus supply D3,,,or do you still need a twice a month supplement for that??

It has it all. No need for anything else. Some here like it but personally I have gone back to plain calcium most feeds and d3 and multivits twice a month. Check out other threads where it has been discussed thoroughly.:)
