I recently bought a panther cham and I was just wondering how old should he be before I start to dust his food with supplements? (Repashy Calcium Plus All-in-one Calcium and Vitamin Supplement) I bought some and im not sure if i need to use it yet. Thanks for your help:D

Strait away!!! I use calcium without d3 every feed and reptivite once every two weeks and introduce calcium with d3 once every two weeks when my chams are around 5 months old

Thanks! My panther has just turned 2 months old. so the "all in one" be OK to implement now. What is a good d3 supplement?

I don't no to be honest I've never used a all in one and if it's a all in one supplement it will have a small amount of d3 in there but you can buy calcium with and without d3

So the repashy calcium plus is all you will need. Just dust most of the feeders with it daily, but if Ur taking him out for some sun dust it very lightly, because to much D3 is bad

In theory you want to supplement them from the moment they crawl out of the egg, D3 and everything.

But yes, start using the Repashy All-In-One now. It has everything you need in the one supplement, so I would start using that lightly at most feedings.

Thanks for clarifying guys!:D I would like to take him out in the sun a bit but I dont want to stress him too much, while he's young(getting him in and out of his cage). How much do you guys handle them when they are young?

Depends how much they tolerate. With my boy, Daedalus, I left him alone a week or two and then started leaving his cage open so he could choose when and how to come out. Once out I'd put my hand so he'd have to walk over it to get to where he wanted. We built trust like that and now I can handle him as much or as little as I need to, including visits to the vet, appearances at a biology lecture or reptile show, or visits to the homes of friends. When he was little I probably handled him a few times a week - maybe not daily, but certainly often.

However, the chameleons I've had that have been aggressive or scared I have left largely alone.

U got a couple of great answers here but i just want to double clarify that repashy is every feeding very light light dustings and nothing more! No extra vitamins. If he gets more than a couple hrs of pure unfiltered sun a week skip a day. Or as I would do 1 or 2 days a week just plain phosphorus free calcium with NO D3 and a good plain calcium brand is rep-cal in my opinion. Whith no d3 may have to be orderd online depending on where u live. (its not available to a lot of members locally
