I just want to make sure I have enough supplement for my Cham.
I have ZooMed Repti Calcium which says : Calcium (min) 38%, 380,000mg per KG, Calcium (max)43% 430,000 mg per KG. Vitamin D3(min) 10,290 IU, 22,907 IU per KG. What does all that mean and how much should I give.
I also have Zilla vitamin supplement spray which says : Calcium(min) 60ppm, Vitamin D3(min) 2.4mg/lb
Sry if that information is confusing but idk what to do >.< please help.

The Zilla spray also has a lot of other stuff in it too.

Oh yeh, forgot. I don't have him yet, but he will be a male veiled and almost 8 months.

I just checked my supplement jars (I use Rep-Cal brand) and believe the first item you listed is your Calcium w/D3 (although yours says: Vitamin D3(min) 10,290 IU, 22,907 IU per KG and mine says the Vitamin D content is minimum 400,000 IU/kg). The one you listed seems really low in D3 in comparison with mine. I checked my plain Calcium however, thinking that is perhaps what you listed and my plain calcium is just that, plain with no D3 at all. Therefore I deducted the Calcium you listed is your Cal w/D3. :D

The Vitamin spray you also listed seems to me to be a Calcium w/D3 as well. I use a Zilla Calcium supplement spray (sometimes, as needed) but I checked my bottle of calcium and it isn't the same as you listed which lead me to believe it was a multivitamin, but when I checked my container of Rep-Cal Herptivite, (a multivitamin) it also doesn't have any D3 in it. Therefore, I have deducted that the spray is also a cal w/D3.

So based on my detective skills...you have two products of calcium w/D3

What you need is:
- Plain Calcium powder - to be used to dust your feeders at EVERY feeding.

- Calcium w/D3 powder (which you already have, first product listed) - to be used TWICE A MONTH when feeding (usually used alternate Sundays)

- Multivitamin (such as Herptivite) - to be used TWICE A MONTH when feeding (usually used on alternate Sundays)

Hope this helps. :)

Wow thanks a lot. I believe the spray is a multivitamin because it has a ton of other vitamins in it. Such as : D3, B12, B6, Riboflavin, Niacin, Beta Carotene and a few others. So I guess i just need the plain calcium then. =O

I just re-checked my multivitamin container and yes, it seems your spray is a multivitamin. Remember to spray directly on your feeders and let the spray dry completely before feeding to your chams! (it doesn't take long!)

So yes, you will just need the plain Calcium - and this is the most important as you will use it at every feeding (except the Sundays you will alternate the multivit and cal w/d3, if I wasn't clear!)

And when you get your guy, be sure to post pictures!! ;)

I should be getting him next Wednesday, so I'll post a few pics sometime next week. Thanks a lot for the help!
