Superworms? I think I've been had.

Can someone please tell me what superworms look like? I went to some other petstore to look for supplies today with my friend, as they were having a going out of business sale.

Well they had feeders in glass tanks, and the one labeled GIANT MEALWORM looked exactly like the superworms petco sold me?

they are slightly diffrent the chintin level in meals is a little too much...so stick with super....great for backyard birds though...

dunno, i think mealworms tend to be thinner around..

And you have passed your fear of crickets onto me. I found myself scissoring off their back legs because when I tried to pull it off, dang thing tried to bite.

The easiest way for me to tell them apart is superworms have black heads and mealworms do not.

For some reason they don't bite hank!!!! I dont get it!! maybe he just does it really quick.

Yeah I've seen several petstores do that. Once i asked a petstore if they had any superworms, and the person had no idea what I meant. I said "Superworms, you know, Zophobas?" Finally she reached under the counter and pulled out a couple large bins and said "We have small and large mealworms?"

I educated her.
