Suffering from dystocia

My poor girl became egg bound and the vet said he could do nothing for her I feel so awful. I made a list of all the things I could have done differently, I experimented woth different midea in the bin, I know she has been ready for awhile but never did seem interested in the bin. Yesterday was the first day I seen any evidence of digging and today she's dying. I faced that fact months ago when I read about chameleons becoming egg bound I said to my self 'this can happen, and sometimes nothing can be done about it' I ache a little inside but everything only lives to die. It's the circle of life.

How sad I am so sorry, This my sound harsh but after she has passed and if you have the stomach for it, you can take the eggs from her surgically, If she had been bred! At least you'll have a piece of her in her offspring!

No she wasn't we were thinking about it but couldn't find a male but we ALS don't have the room right now. But I will get another one in the future!
