sudden prolapse

hey guy i have a friend on a local facebook chameleon site that just took this little guy to the vet and with a 300 buck vet bill and some antibiotics it looks worse then before any advice she is an experienced hobbyist and has been keeping chams and other reptiles for many years...she has never seen or delt with this problem i call out to you all for some help...what do you think

keep it moist and try cool fluids. The problem is, once they happen they tend to happen more often. Not always but be ready for it. Also the really bad ones tend to need a stitch to keep it in. Was it a vet that specializes in herps? or a dog and cat vet?

i just spoke with her

she is doing a warm sugar water wrap and ky to keep it moist and she is going back to the vet tomorrow
