Stuck eye lid for a moment?

I go out and start misting Wilson and I notice that his left eye is closed. Seems normal he closes his eyes sometimes when the water hits him. I stop misting and notice it is still closed but he is moving it around and it appears the lid is stuck.

So thinking maybe something is in it, I spray some water directly over it, And then 30 seconds later all is fine...

Think there is an issue?

This business of closing the eye for a bit and moving things around behind the eyelid is pretty common - especially when they're being misted, but they'll do it at other times as well. (Mine will do this regularly when he gets out in the sun - like Wilson, he'll keep the eye closed for a minute or two before opening it again.) I wouldn't worry about it at this point.

When misting they do their 'eyeball maintenance' where they screw their eyes shut, and roll them around. It looks freaky but all perfectly normal and their way of cleaning their eyes. Like Jann said if you are worried that it's more than this keep an eye on it and give him extra mistings. sometimes they can get things stuck in their eyes - Amy managed to get shed stuck in both eyes at the same time before! Extra misting soon sorted her out.:D

Thanks guys you have helped alleviate my worry. I was pretty sure it was nothing but it freaked me out at first.
