Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?Female brev, she's wild caught, and I've had her for 6 days now.
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?only to give her reptaid.
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?she eats 1/4" crickets, small dubia, small blatta latteralis roaches, small silkies, flies, and small supers. She gets the equivalent of 4 crickets every other day. She is hand fed with small tongs as she can't seem to hunt on her own. This week I'm gutloading with mustard greens, endive, squash, celery leaves, strawberries, raspberries, and carrots. I also use cricket crack.
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?repcal products. I plan to use calcium without d3 almost ever feeding, calcium with d3 every 4-6 weeks, and a multivitamin every 4-6 weeks. Let me know if I need to change that at all.
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?I mist twice a day and she readily drinks water from a pipet once or twice a day. I mist for about a minute. She is an awesome drinker.
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. only one that I have spotted so far. Perfectly white urates and normal looking feces.Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? not tested yet.
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. bought at San Diego show. Part of her tail is missing and she is wild caught. She has been on reptaid for 4 days. She seems to accept handling and will readily walk onto mu hand after she gets water so I can give her reptaid (which she does not like.) then she goes back to her tub. I rinse her eye out with a saline solution once or twice a day which seems to be helping.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?Plastic 15 gallon tub, organic fertilizer free soil with drainage under it.
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? old reptisun 5.0 or natural sunlight in the shade when it's cool. The light goes on and off with the sun.
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? No basking spot, room stays 70-75 during the day and drops to mid 60s-ish at night. I use a digital thermometer.
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?generally 60-70% dry and 90+% after misting. I mist twice a day and use a digital hygrometer.
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?pothos and ficus
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?tub is in my chameleon room, not near fans/vents and it's on the floor. They can't see any other chameleons.
Location - Where are you geographically located?norcal

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about. She keeps her eye closed for the majority of the day but she does open it every now and then. She doesn't seem to be actually looking at anything though when she does open it. The other eye looks around frequently, but the other one stays in one position the whole time. Could she be blind and have something in her eye?

I have no idea on brev's but i had a panther blind in one eye and he still moved it around just like the normal one. Took me a while to figure out he was blind in one eye.

She started to move it around a little. Not quite like the other one, but at least it's moving. She has also started to close her other eye every now and then, any suggestions?

Okay, now Stubby's poop is coming out the same form that it went in. Can someone at least warn me if I should be prepared to loose her?

Pygmies are tricky pssh-there is likely nothing you can do. Do you mean that she is pooping cricket parts?

She is pooping chewed up bugs, yes. It doesn't look even remotely digested.

This may be a dumb question. But, could is possibly be regugitated food? Not sure if you actually saw her making the poop or not. If it is was, could the rept-aid possibly be making her stomach sick?

No, I've seen her poop out whole bugs. They've progressively been less and less digested looking.

Oh no! I just checked on Stubby and she was laying on her side with her mouth open and tongue slightly out. Then my juvenile male walked over to her, started to knead her skin and kind of wiggle her around until she opened her eyes and closed her mouth. I don't know if he was trying to mate or if he was attempting to wake her up, but he's now sitting right next to her keeping her body upright.

Edit: also, should I completely separate her? They were in the same tub with a divider up, but he managed to climb over it some how. He seems to be helping her right now...

Edit again: What the heck is going on? Stubby seems better now, but olive (the male) is tail down in the soil. He's just sitting on top of the soil with his tail in the soil and he has on front foot holding him steady on a clump of soil. Bthis is not a fun birthday present!
