Struggling with feeders

Hello All,

We are having some issues keeping some of our feeders alive. As far as i am aware we are doing everything correct, however we must have missed something else we wouldn't be having a problem :p

Athena eats a variety of Locust, Silkworms, Butterworms, Calciworms, Waxworms (treat only) and Dubia Roaches.

Most of the feeders are doing great, but our locust keep dying. Generally we lose 3 or 4 a night. We keep around 40 in a large cricket keeper, this has 2 separate small pots, one with water gel, the other with 'Bug Grub' - a dry gut load from the pet store. - The idea of this tub is to simply keep them alive. But, they usually die and I'm not sure why

24hours before being fed, we transfer 5-6 locust into a smaller cricket keeper which contains one of our freshly made gut loads to try and fill them up on the good stuff before being fed to Athena. The problem is, they don't appear to eat the gut load. Is 24hours enough time for them to eat the fresh veggies? Are they likely to still be full of the Bug Grub?

I have attached a picture of our gut loads, they are various blends of Orange, Apple, Carrot, Basil, Mint leaves and squash.
