Strange coloration in Droppings

So KP has been in his new enclosure for about a week and a half now and seems to be liking it. But I will say that he hasn’t seemed to be interested in his food as much, and I’m worried he’s not drinking enough from the looks of his urates but maybe there’s another problem. If anyone could take a look and help out that’d be great. Also want to post a pic of him to ensure that he’s looking healthy.

Thanks

Any idea what that long thing is that looks like a plant root in the feces in your hand?? Do you have substrate in the cage.
Yellow urates mean dehydration...how do you provide water?

Pretty sure that’s a piece of cocunut husk off of the pothos I have in there, he’s had this happen once before. I do not have substrate in there, the only thing that’s exposed is that pothos husk.

I have a reptirain misting system that mists him once every hour for 45 seconds and I also provide a little dripper system that drips 2-3 drops per second. I’ll bump up the mister to spray for 60 seconds every hour and also add another dripping system. I was just curious if it could have been anything other then dehydration

I did have to leave this past weekend and had a friend watch over him so I’m sure he didn’t refil the water. But i’ll Remedy this

I'd remove the coconut husk from the pothos totem. If i remember correctly, it is only held on by some string or rubber bands. Becareful unwrapping the plant since the potho will most likely have some tendrils growing into the husk.

Try setting your mister to spray for 2-3 minutes at a time every 2-3 hours. In my experience, 1 minute hasn't stimulated my chameleon to drink.

When and how much do you feed him? Basking temps?

Can do, I may honestly just revamp my enclosure AGAIN, this time with new plants. Think it’s time to get everything in order just in case.

I made a larger feeding cup that even the large crickets can not get out of. And since he’s a small Cham in a rather large enclosure I’m not freeranging just yet. So I don’t think he’ll be ingesting anymore husk for now but i’ll Get that taken care of.

And I would do that but i’m using the zoomed reptirain system, so the longest option is only a minute. I Guess I could just get it’s own timer and set it to turn off then imidiately turn back on? Im currently trying to acquire a mistking. I will probably have one within the next month so I won’t have to worry about the problem. I also added another dripping system. So maybe it’ll help

When he gets crickets I feed him around 5-8 medium crickets, and when I feed him super worms he gets 2-5, both depending on size. They’re both gutlpaded and sprinkled with appropriate calcium/vitamin dusts when needed. His basking temp is at 87 now, since he is 6 months old I bumped it up just a tad.
