We have a senegal chameleon that is a little over a year old. She has been just fine up until 2 weeks ago. We first noticed she wasn't using to tongue to get her crickets like she had been. She would walk up to them and just open her mouth and grab them. We thought it was strange for her to do that but didn't think too much about it. Then last week she developed a knot behind her right eye. All the while she has been eating and drinking just fine. Now we've noticed the inside of her mouth is swelling and the right side doesn't close all the way. We have opened her mouth and her tongue is still pink and there is no discharge coming from her mouth. She has also developed another knot under the left side of her chin. She doesn't seem to act sick but something is definately not right with her. Could this be a calcium problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
