Strand eggs (eggs joined by membrane)...

If you look well enough you will find necropsy photos of dead chams in here and I've seen a couple of females that died, most likely of being egg bound, and indeed on the inside all the eggs are joined together! Pretty crazy looking! So it IS 100% a fact, so you're right. No need to doubt.

In the photos of the dead chameleons some of the membrane is the reproductive organs I think. If that's what's joining them outside the egg I don't think it would be a good thing...right?? Sounds like for the chickens they're saying it's a calcium issue....so maybe it is with chameleons too?

Idk, maybe they aren't absorbing the calcium well? I know a lot of minerals like calcium need specific vitamins to be absorbed well? So maybe the added vitamin D3 is too much at once and not enough regularly? Just throwing stuff out there...
