Hi all! So thanksgiving weekend I had family in town and they wanted to see Winston. I took 2 people to come see him on Friday and 3 people on Saturday. While they were here he was acting the way he normally does. I got him to eat out of one of my cousins hands on Friday and he ate out of my hand on Saturday. Then starting the very next morning, Winston wouldn't eat out of my hand anymore and its been about a week and a half and he still won't. He just rotates himself along the branch to hide behind it instead and if I get to close to him with the feeder he puffs up at me and his black stripes start to show up. I can't even get him to eat out of the feeder tongs however he still eats just fine when the feeders are just left in his cage. The treats I was trying to hand feed him were butterworms. Is it normal for a chameleon to do this? Is this going to be permanent or is it just a temporary setback? If anyone has any advice that would be super helpful, thank you!
