Stone flies are out in central oregon!

Finally a Sunny day in Central Oregon! I had the Chams outside and they loved it! But Check this out-

It's stone fly season on the river!! That means two things 1. Soon I'll be catching 5lb trout in the Deschutes river one after another and 2. Free Cham food. Today was one of the first days the stone flies were out and I caught about a hundred in ten minutes. My Chams love them.

Gotta love free feeders!!! That thing is almost as big as the largest species I keep LOL!!!

They can stay alive for a few weeks (supposedly lol) and they dont eat. How easy is that! I have an xtra screen cage for them now in my backyard.

Life on the river explodes when these guys show up. There are snakes and lizzards everywhere capitalizing on the same thing!

You guys make me so jealous of the North West down in Texas I either get horrific spiders, black crickets with more diseases than a rat or 5,000,000,000,000 friggin June bugs

Update- I went to Mecca flats near madras (a little more north than yesterday) to fish and they hadn't come out there yet. I saw 2 ^/) I should have just gone to the same spot as yesterday, just didn't feel like hiking back into the canyon.

this Month is going to be spectacular though!
