ive read about this happening before its sugggested to keep the sac moist, its the food the baby cham didnt finish absorbing and it may absorb it within the next day. so keep it real moist and hopefully it will be absorbed and the baby will survive!

Leave them alone in the cup . When they r born they lay there like if dead for a day or two . That sack if u take it off he will die it will fall off on its own dont touch them till they walk around in there for atleast a day. They feed off that sack till it runs out.

I would not keep it wet like the other person said. No need to put KY or mist the baby directly. As was said, they can sit like this for a while. Keep it in the container until its up and walking. It may still keep the sac after up and about but just keep the enclosure nice and humid and it will shrivel up and fall off eventually. This is normal. The baby looks nice so I believe it will be fine.

Parroting something that you read that was more than likely parroted itself is not useful. Information based on experience is.

okay i was simply sharing something i read here on the forum from another senior member several weeks ago. if it was wrong, i apologize.

Ok so i sprayed her off when i first seen "it", then left "it" alone for the night and this morning it was up and moving around.

Perfectly normal!

Some of mine have come out like that also...Purple and they "sleep" for another day or two. So odd!

Then some come out bright and ready to go!

So glad to see your healthy new babies!
