spray calcium

The only calcium my local pet store carries without D3 is the spray. Is this adequate for spraying crickets with daily, or should I order some powder online? I do have the kind with D3 for twice a month.

Also my little guys does get silkworms daily. Currently he still prefers crickets, so he doesn't eat too many worms (hoping that changes..)

I know too many hornworms can cause gout, but unsure about the quantity of silkworms. They are too expensive and rarely available enough to cause problems, probably. As with any chameleon, feeder variety is important. Try : praying mantis, superworms, silkworm moths, hornworm moths, butterflies, BSF or household flies (depending on size of cham), walking sticks, grasshoppers, etc... Use caution with the superworms, as they are very addictive to some chameleons. No more than 5-6 a week for an adult chameleon. Some of mine will hold out from eating anything for days while waiting on more superworms. Apparently, they are just that good tasting. If you have to, I would order your supplements: Ca w/out D3, Ca w/D3, and a multivitamin. They really do require all 3.
