Spray adhesives for cocoa peat?

Hi,

I'm working on my new enclosure and I was wondering something...I'm in the midst of squeezing silicone to stick the peat to the great stuff...my back is killing me. Has anyone ever used a spray adhesive to glue on the peat? It would be a heck of alot easier...just wanted to know unless it is dangerous or something. I appreciate any feedback!!
Thanks!

You would need something water proof or the peat will fall off. I don't think they have a spay that does that. You can get silicone in a can. I thought about using tar once but the curing time is very long.

also the silicone layer keeps alot of water from getting into the great stuff, also the black silicone usaly looks alot better if u missed a small spot (blends in) cause the great stuff is a ugly yellow

i have used all three of the spray 3m adhevsives

they come in different ratings with the highest being the most tough and sticky, this spray dries really quickly

also you have to clean the cap of these sprays before they dry or you will have effectively wasted a whole can and the hassle of switching out caps, what a nightmare

this stuff works good though, i'd recommend holding a folder or magazine to help catch your excess spray from sticking to your screen or using it before installing screeens

Excellent! Thank you Dankmeleon...I'm gonna grab a few cans on my way home from work tomorrow to finish the rest :D
