Splitting the cage?

So I have a pretty large housing for my jacksons. She has the whole thing to herself as a 30x30x18 terrarium. But I want to. Begin to house possibly a male as well. I don't have a problem buying a new cage or even building one, but I though I'd ask, what if I were to divide the cage in halves? I figured I could get a sheet of plastic or even wood, 2 cages in one. My uv light stretches the whole cage, so they get their sunlight and I have a lot of plants that I could re arrange so they have lots of crawling and hiding spaces. Also I have another heat lamp sitting on the side for a basking spot on both ends. Lemme know what you think. I'm still new to chams so I'm not sure if this is a good or bad idea:)

yes you can do that as long as they don't see each other and as long as they have plenty of room to move around (im not sure how big your chams are). i actually had to do that a couple of times when the cages were shipped late or jus didn't have any. :D
