my male veiled has this split nail or double nail for a little while now. (it finally grew enough that i could get a pic) i noticed it after the herp vet trimmed his nails, its possible it was there before. i know they arent supposed to have their nails trimmed and havent done it since (was 2 yrs ago) it doesnt seem to bother him.... although its kind of like an extra nail poking me when he climbs on me.
my questions are:
A) is it split or double?
B) is it something i should be concerned about and have looked at?
C) if it wasnt the trimming that caused it what else could have happened been?
