In the past week spike has been very naughty he bit me very hard the other day on the finger because my young niece didnt understand and went too close to him while i was holding him. He layed me open preety good he took a chunk of skin and it bled preety good and it HURT!! About 10 mins ago i went too pick him up to move him to his umbrella so i could clean his cage and he grabbed my hand again this time not bad.He was getting good with being held he never fought preety much would climb on my hand. Recently he has been moving around alot in his cage i was told he may be looking for a female could this be why hes being a naughty boy. heres a picture of the first bite after i cleaned the blood off you would be surprised how strong there jaw power is you could feel it right to the bone.

It sounds to me like he is wanting a female. They can get pretty agressive probably. I know thats how it is with iguanas. Not positive about chams. I just got my first two not that long ago. How long has he been acting like this? Hopefually it wont last

Sounds like he is going through cham puberty and his hormones have kicked in! How old is he now? When Amy hit 6 months she got a lot more hissy and prone to gape if you so much as looked in her cage!:D
