Spayed female behaviour

A couple of days ago Bishop and Ripley saw each other for the 1st time, and since then she has been showing breeding colours I'm rather confused by this as I thought she wouldn't anymore. Since she was spayed half a year ago, she's been mostly green with some brown patterns. But after seeing Bishop she decided she feels sexy again. I took her to the vet a couple of days ago (to check her teeth), the vet checked her belly and said it doesn't seem like she regrown her ovarian tissue and started producing eggs again.
So I'm just curious why the receptive pattern?
Also she's been quite restless, trying to claw her way out of her cage and constantly wanting out. Does she need a bigger enclosure? Or is it spring getting to her?

My girl claws at the walls when she gets receptive! Sound like she's randy again can the vet really FEEL ovarian tissue considering that even eggs can't really be felt?

well the vet said she can't really feel the eggs..
when she was gravid before, you could see them through her skin.

Rips put on loads of weight as well, even though she gets 5-6 bugs a week.. She is 165g!!!
should have had her xrayed
