sore eye

evening all,
I'm new to the chameleon scene only just got my panther, he has a sore on his eye. he didn't have this when i bought him. any idea what could have caused it? anything i can do to help sort it?

Just guessing here, but it looks like he might have injured it. Are you sure there is nothing sharp he could have poked it on? Keep an eye out for infection, and swelling.

he did fall the other day when i went to get him out he freaked a little bit. he's better now but at first was a bit panic'y when i was trying to take him out. I've just wiped it off with a cotton wool bud and warm water

basically its nothing major to worry about? but if it does get worse get him to the vets

Yes if you see any swelling or puss come out of it I would take him to a qualified reptile vet.
