Somnambulant Chameleon?

Hi late-night forum goers,

I'm a short sleeper. Never get more than a few hours a night, and I have noticed something about my chameleon over the past few days while I am up at night; he tends to be active at night too. Every once in a while I'll hear a rustle from his cage in the next room and go to check on him and see him climbing a vine or moving around more than simply adjusting his sleeping position.

It will be totally dark in his room, lights have been off for hours, and his jammies are on, all is quiet and nothing is rumbling or making any kind of noise/light (I'm usually just web-surfing or reading something quietly, in another room). Temps are low 70's, and no feeders are in there to disturb him, yet every once in a while he will seem to wake-up and decide to go for a midnight stroll. Is he just weird? Is he an insomniac? Is he sleep-roaming? Or am I doing something wrong with my husbandry?

Have any of you noticed anything similar in your chams?
