Chameleon Info:
  • Your Chameleon - Yemen, male, 1,5 year old, had him since he was 6 month.
  • Handling - everytime i shower he joins in. so everyday
  • Feeding - 2 locust everyday and some zophobas worms. everyday when i wake up i put them at his setup. i gut-load with carrots, roman lettuce or what ever greens i have at home
  • Supplements - calsium with d3 2 times a month and calsium vitamins every other day.
  • Watering - Im misting 3 times a day for 1L-2L each time. I do see him drinking.
  • Fecal Description - blackis poop, kinda hard consistency. and pee is white with some light yellow parts. he has not been tested for parasites.
  • History he was recently moved from 1 setup to another setup, when my female cham died couple weaks ago. she was 7 years old. they did have eyesight of eachother cross the room. and they had met a couple times.

Cage Info:
  • Cage Typ - i dont have cage for him. il post pic of the setup.
  • Lighting - 2UVB with heat one is 80w the other 100w
  • Temperature - 77-87° F at daytime. night time dont know.
  • Humidity - around 60% spraying alot and having moss planted to keep the moisture.
  • Plants - yes some ficus trees.
  • Placement - corner of my bed room. there is a window next to it. middle of the wall basicly, he was at near the roof before i moved his location.
  • Location - south sweden

Current Problem - He is beige/brown and darker green colour. he use to bee all fine green and yellow. he didnt eat for 5 days, he might have eaten 1 locust yesterday cus i cant find it. but didnt see him eat it. and he usesualy eat from my hand, but now he refuses, he also use to "hunt" the food if i put them in his setup. and i allways saw him eat. he doesnt drink much either, he drinks, but not the same amount as before. he is active like usual running around all over the place. but when he doesnt he often hide behind branches and bushes. before i changed the setup he was basking if he didnt climb around.

my thoughts are can he be depressed that the female died? or he doesnt like the new setup? it all started when she died and i redid her setup and put him there.

Might be stressed from both events? Cage moving and the female dying. Also you are using the vitamins every other day? Usually only twice a month.

All these things that make a lousy gut load. Get a good quality one such as Bug Burger or Super Load. I use a product called Repashy calcium plus that I dust my guys feeders with everyday.
