Isn't he pretty!

You might try giving him so wetter feeders. If you can get silkworms or hornworms there ideal. If not, maybe wax worms or butter worms. A wetter feeder might help get the system working a little more smoothly.

I'm going to make a suggestion. I don't think this has anything to do with the problem, but I think it will help you in the end. I think you want to get a small table--something cheap you can cut holes in, Ikea would be a good place to look--and elevate that cage. That will give you the option to create a drainage system.

It will also give your chameleon the chance to loom over you on occasion. They like to loom.

This/\ is the only thing that really stands out to me. That is alot of light
1x5.0 linear bulb is your best bet. Having two other uvb sources could be blinding him. This may explain why he stays at the bottom of the cage.
Do you have a picture of your light setup?
I would definitely take out everything but the basking bulb, and 5.0 UVB.

Oh ok, I misunderstood your post, I thought you had three uvb sources.:p

A 5.0 and a 10.0 is still too much, and many will argue that one 10.0 is too much.

Looks like a winning setup to me.

The only other thing I can think of is heat.
I use a 75w for basking on mine. Everyones situation is different, and you may indeed need the 100w. You might recheck temps though, or switch to a 75w and check them to see if that will work. Thats all I can think of that may be effecting him this way:eek:

i just added the extra uvb over the weekend so im hoping this is what has triggered this odd behavior. time will tell i guess.

Ok, that makes more even more sense IMO.
I have no experience with that issue, but Im betting it will correct itself soon/immediately.;)

I noticed my other panther also seeming to like lower spots but he didnt seem as off as this one. But i changed both to 1/ 5.0 linear bulb
