Solarmeter 6.2

There's a solarmeter 5.0 model listed on eBay right now for .99 cents, you may be interested. We're not selling it, or buying it, just thought you might want to know.

no it has to be a 6.2. the 5.0 measures a different wavelength UV. 6.2 measures between 280-320nm which is in the range of UVB in reptile lights. this way you can measure the output of your UVB bulbs and see how good they are.

i thought it was a pretty good price too. i think i'll get one.

i just got mine from beardeddragons.com a week or two ago, i have plyed around with it but have not actually started taking measurments. if someone with experience can give an idea how to get started, i think i need to open and install a new tube to get the burn in measurements, than after burn in time, take the measurement and that is the high or good number?? to use as a scale for when tubes are losing there power??
