Soilmoist - safe?

Can someone tell me if soilmoist (see pics) is safe to use to hydrate my crickets? I posted about this in a Facebook chameleon group and nobody seemed to know that you could use water crystals for hydration. I know lots of people use the miracle gro ones but these are all I could find.

I just feed and mist them once in awhile. I don't use water crystals was always told they were bad for cham
