Soil for plants

hey all quicky question. What kind of soil do you recommend for repotting store bought plants for my Panthers cage? I saw someone write unfertilized soil, not sure exactly that means I am not a green thumb at all, leave that to my mom and sister!! Do I just ask a person at HD or Lowes I need unfertilized soil or is there a brand people recommend?

Well I bought a Golden Pothos and a Dwarf Umbrella, and now I found a place that sells sterile soil, so once my cage gets here I will have everything ready to go into it!
