So many questions

I am totally new here, (first post) and new to the wonderful world of Chameleons.. I consider myself to be an experienced reptile owner, but this is a whole different thing.. I have a male Veiled Chameleon.. I guess I have more questions than anything, but my main concern is how skittish he is.. He always seems to hide in the top corners (on his myst hoses), but when I come around, he's instantly a dark color, and moves away quickly.. Also, I haven't noticed him drinking, I saw him eat on day one when we first got him, bit nothing since..

Sorry, if these are ridiculous questions.. Just wondering if anybody could help me out, maybe tolerate a Q&A with me..
