So, he doesn't like Rooney.

Along with Mr.Pink the chameleon, I have 4 cats, that all pretty much leave Mr.Pink alone. Worst case scenario - one of my females, Kaida, will watch him if he's wandering around in his cage.

Mr.Pink has been shedding the past couple days, and he likes to get those hard to reach areas rubbed (very gently - no pulling or peeling) to get that excess itchy skin off. So I took him out and was rubbing his belly, when all of a sudden one of my male cats, Rooney, jumped up onto the couch, startling both me and Mr.Pink (I wasn't expecting it either )

Rooney is a gentle, lazy, giant, and wouldn't hurt a fly - even if he was active enough to catch one. Mr.Pink does not know that, so when Rooney came over for a sniff, he puffed right up and started hissing! This actually scared the crap out of my cat, but after the initial shock he leaned in for a better sniff. That's when Mr.Pink actually lunged at him, getting black splotches of colour all over him! I'm pretty sure he was trying to bite my widdle Wooney!

I quickly removed Mr.Pink from the situation, and put him back into his cage, where he immediately calmed down and started showing happy colours again.
I'm just really glad that Mr.Pink has never felt that threatened around me or my husband. He probably doesn't trust me as much with his safety anymore, but I'm sure I can regain that, as long as I can keep the cats away from him while he's out of the cage.
