Hi,
My chameleon has a what looks like a small scab on one of his front legs. I noticed it when I got him home from the petshop and he also had one on his tail. His tail had now healed- the scab came off when he shed, but the one on his leg is still there. I was just wondering if this is something to worry about? He is also closing one eye as if he has something in it, and the scales around it keep sinking in as though he has a twitch or like his eye is being squeezed, he is also reluctant to eat (as indicated in a thread in the feeding section, I was wondered if it's all related). The little guy likes to keep me on my toes!
Here's a picture of the scab & his eye (although it's hard to catch what's happening on camera.) My local vet surgery has a reputable exotic pet specialist, I wander if I health check is in order. The petshop clearly weren't particularly careful with him. I also wouldn't want to cause him undue stress with an unnecesary vet trip so your opinion is valued
