Sleeping colour change

Just out of interest how does everyones chameleons colours differ when they are sleeping, my blue bar ambilobe is green and turquoise with a red chin during the day but at night he turns yellow with blue. So fascinating to see!

Almost all chameleons change colors when they sleep and they usually will get lighter and brighter.

Yeah i know, i was just intreged into what colours other peoples go i.e a different species or if they each had their own slightly different colour

Mine turns bright green with some bright yellow highlights.

I have a jackson and she turns a really light green when she sleeps. Sometimes there will be hints of white on her, too. When she's awake she's usually a much darker green with very little if any white.

My Nosy Be panther gets quite light in color at night. Sometimes he's a bright blue, but often he turns very pale, almost white. As if the color has drained out of him. It's actually kind of creepy when he does that. I don't like it!

My guy who is normally turquiose or sea green is almost white when he sleeps, and when he wakes up I feel like his colors are super vibrant.

My 4 month old veiled turns a striking pure yellow and it always surprises me to see his color change as he goes to sleep.
