Skin rash?

After i let my female walk on me today, i realized that her claws are getting SHARP, so after i took her off and placed her back into her terrarium, i suddenly got like mosquito bites all over my hand... :O It sounds maybe odd...

So my only thought is that her claws are dirty?
Should you wear gloves when handled?

If you react badly to the scratches, as in an allergic reaction, then yes wear gloves and long sleeves, handle as little as possible. You may be reacting to whatever she climbs on, as much as to her. I find the marks/ scratches my male gives me just from his strong grip go away quite quickly, so I dont bother with gloves.

I also get a minor allergic reaction whenever I get scratched by my chams (or my cat, or my hedgehog). In my experience washing your hands/arms afterwards with anti bacterial soap will make the rash and itching go away much faster. I personally don't bother will gloves most of the time because the rash goes away so fast.
