skin not fully shedding off

My 4 month old male veiled shed (molted) a week ago. most of his skin came off easy and quickly. He just rubbed it off. There is a flap around one of his front legs that has not come off. It is not fully circling his leg and has not changed for a week. I tried to gently brush it off but that did not work. Should I try something else or just leave it be?

Try an extra long mist with warmish water, a few times a day. Hopefully it will come off. Kath.
